About Us

Mission Statement

At Toothbrush Land we aim for 100% customer satisfaction through accurate clinical diagnosis and best practice treatments by using our professionalism, modern technology, (digital) x-ray equipment and the latest products.

We strive to maintain open and honest communication in a friendly, supportive and caring manner.

We will help you make the best choice for the wellbeing of your mouth and view your needs and expectations through your eyes, not our own.

We love the environment!

At Toothbrush Land we are one of the few dental practices in Toowoomba that works towards a friendly environmental footprint. In fact we designed the practice with the health of the environment foremost in mind. Our practice takes a holistic approach to dentistry to treat the mouth, the body and the environment with the most friendly  ‘green practices’ as possible.

Here are some of the things we are doing to ensure a safe and healthy environment for future generations:

Toothbrush Land is the first commercial customer in Australia for Earth Friendly Concrete (EFC). The concrete contains no cement; therefore 9,016kg CO2 emissions were saved during the construction of the carpark and surrounding concrete areas.  EFC is a geo polymer concrete using a binging system of fly ash and granulated slag (GGBS) alkaline activated.

  • We aim to be a paperless office and opt out of paper correspondence wherever possible in favour of email and scanning.
  • We have online access to our preferred radiology laboratory’s records, which allows us to view and save our patients’ digital x-ray images generated off site.
  • We use digital radiography in our practice, eliminating the need for film, film storage and hazardous developing chemicals waste.
  • We recycle paper and biodegradable plastic products.
  • We use biodegradable plastic barriers on our equipment.
  • Paper towels, office paper and paper bags for oral hygiene products are made from recycled paper.
  • We turn off all equipment and power overnight to conserve electricity. The night lights are timed.
  • We keep water consumption to a minimum by star rating water efficient taps and the toilet uses tank water.
  • The solar hot water system is generated by glass and copper heat collectors on the roof.
  • We aim to be 100% solar power generated by year end 2013.
  • We’re aiming to complete a GreenDOC™ certification by The Eco Dentistry Association in 2013.
